World Game Update v0.0.0.8


Another update to World Game!

  • Added Gravel Block. (Accessable through Inventory)
  • Added Gravel Patches that spawn on sand blocks.
  • Glass block faces between glass blocks are now culled.
  • Significantly improved in-game performance. (might be unnoticeable due to VSync)
  • Slightly improved World generation speed.
  • Removed unnecessary randomization with dirt/subsurface block height.
  • [back-end] Block data is now stored in a flat array instead of a 3D array.
  • [back-end] Perlin Noise method will now run slightly faster.
  • [back-end] Removed a lot of unnecessary/redundant methods, and shortened a lot of code.
  • [back-end] Replaced a lot of LINQ queries in the code to improve performance.
  • Fixed Bug where Planks rendered all sides of the block.
  • Fixed incorrect placement of TestEntity/Player model texture.

[back-end] = Features not added to the game, but is inside the game's code.
